What I appreciate and enjoy the most by writing this blog, in addition to get to know fab readers like you, it’s to have the opportunity to get an insight into the world of designing. I get to meet and be around a lot of designers, so genuine and talented. Most designers within the children’s sector are surprisingly humble, very friendly and they often will let you in on their process, their working methods as well as ideas, inspiration and even end result long before it’s launched. As I’m not creative at all but still a lover of handmade and great design this is a proper treat!
So, yet not launched at any children’s trade show… Here’s some behind the scenes photos, from their shot for SS13, forwarded this week from the head of design Linda Gullberg from Mina’s Shoes.
The clothes are from another of our favourite children’s wear brands, relaxed but oh so trendy Shampoodle with a mix of the collections for SS12 and SS13. Among the gorgeous mini models I do spot Linda’s daughter. The photos were shot by the Swedish photographer Susanne Kindt.
