petitePARADE runway show, in collaboration with Vogue Bambini, is one of the more important events in the children’s fashion industry, taking place during Kids Fashion Week NYC. The by-invitation-only event is a carefully curated children’s fashion show and a number one destination for media, buyers and industry experts. Launched September 10th 2010.
was one of the brands taking part this season, at the Vogue Bambini Petite PARADE March 2013 Kids Fashion Week NY. The Creative Director and Founder, Marion Reynolds, was indeed very happy with the event; “It was our second time showing on the Vogue Bambini Runway during New York Kids Fashion Week and we were delighted with the show. The audience was at maximum capacity with standing room only!”

The premium children’s brand showed a stunning collection with influences from the Nordic Goddess representing great beauty and enchantments; “Her pale tones and warm persona has inspired our pale colour palette with accents in the warm tones.”
Silhouettes flowing Goddess like, using many silks, each chosen for their unique feel and fall, Swarovski elements crystal and furs adding to the luxurious feel. Laser cut sheep leather, cashmere blend coat, Tuxedo style jacket with sheep leather shawl lapel and sequined necklines are some of the highlights when 16 outfits paraded the catwalk in New York this season.

The frosty styling, inspired by Nordic Folklore, was rather striking and brought the collection into it’s own right.

We asked the Director Ian Reynolds how they arranged their casting in their search for the models, girls beaming with pride and confidence.
“For this season, we decided to make a casting call via our Facebook page. The response was wonderful with over 200 entries! From these we had the difficult job of reducing to just 16 for the catwalk show.
The preparations for the show went perfectly with all of the girls having a great time; in the next few weeks we plan to do some interviews and introduce them personally to our Facebook followers. This was the second time some of the girls worked with us so we really feel we are getting to know them!”

Pale Cloud Autumn Winter 2013 will be available from end of Summer 2013 in age 4 – 14 years.
