Rising Star Michiko and Me SS14 campaign shot by Mi Elfverson

The new ‘Rising Star Award’ will be celebrating brands, tipped for future success in terms of quality of product, marketing and innovation. The nominees of the ‘Rising Star Award’ at Bubble London, are Miss Pois, Long Wave Apparel, Dimity Bourke, Milk and Rock, Skullduggery, Project Jelly, Brit Chic Signature, Michiko and Me, Miss Hall, Skribbies, Rockahula Kids and Jewel Rocks, with the winner announced on Sunday 16 June at the show.

Michiko and Me uses Liberty art fabrics to make a luxurious yet ethically produced collection for babies and children, aged 0‐8 years. Being a pan-seasonal collection that grows with the child, each piece is designed to last at least two, three seasons and the brand new “Four Year Dress” will see children through three to five years of wear.
The signature Michiko kimono wrap dress, as seen in the Guardian recently, is a subtly detailed A-line dress that is among the key pieces that will be on display at Bubble London this weekend, at stand VE13. michikoandme.com

The British brand, Michiko and Me’s collection for Spring Summer 2014 was captured by our fellow Scandi, photographer Mi Elfverson. Mi has more than 8 years experience photographing children’s fashion. And with a love for nature and all things beautiful (she grew up on a farm in South Sweden), she was indeed the right woman for the task. mielfverson.co.uk
