Sunshine galore and good times ahead -Happy Weekend!

Holiday! All bags packed and we are ready for our Summer adventure. However with the astonishing heathwave across the UK, there’s really no need to go anywhere else. Nevertheless, Norwegian mountains peeks and deep fjords awaits.

The kids trade shows are in full swing around the globe, and now it’s the popular Playtime touring the world. New York is coming up early August with an eclectic mix of desirable children’s fashion brands. This is followed by Copenhagen Fashion Week and CIFF kids, then Playtime Tokyo rounds it all up end of August. By then most of the buying for next summer has been done, and the retailers can focus on the arriving news for Autumn Winter 2013.
We’ll do the same; Share some previews of SS14, but at the same time keep you updated on what’s in store now. Also, did you see that the UK retail market is improving? Really good news! Let’s continue to support our local shops.

And talking about spending… If we only bought one thing this summer, it would have to be this gorgeous tent by Ferm Living. So simple, yet with its contemporary design you wouldn’t mind a campsite in your living room.

And finally, some blog love. We do like the design and fashion, photo and the arts and crafts blogs. But there’s lots of great mummy (and daddy) blogs out there too. The best parenting or mummy blogger I’ve come across in a long time is the A Cup of Jo by Joanna Goddard. Joanna is a NYC based magazine writer-turned blogger. The posts are international, openminded and very interesting. We especially enjoyed to read about 10 Surprising Things About Parenting in Norway. This is a guest post by an American photographer, Rebecca Zeller, who lives in Norway. She’s a talented photographer with an active family lifestyle, all shared on her highly inspirational blog.

Take care, and hope to see you here on the blog again sometime soon. Kisses, Bianca xxx
