Friday festive fun and inspiration

Yay -it’s Friday! Well into November already and heading towards the busy season of December and the coming holiday. Would it be too early to share 76 inspiring Scandinavian Christmas decorating ideas – and some hugely inspiring new blogs!

We’re diving into the Christmas preparations with a baking gingerbread men party tomorrow together with some neighbours. Everyone will be bringing some dough, cutters and decoration. And there will be gløgg (mulled wine Scandi style) for the adults.

But if it’s not only a White Christmas you are dreaming of… A lot of parents are finding it hard juggling a full time job and family life. Would the quiet month of November finally be the opportunity set up your own business? I did, 4 years ago, and though it’s been scary and tough, I’ve not regretted leaving the corporate world.

If you are crafty and dreaming of setting up your own creative business, why not look into Etsy? Check out the Beginners Guide to Selling on Etsy. Follow the questionare and whenever there’s a no, you may find the information you need via just one click, and then you are ready to move on to the next question. As simple as that. All this information has been delightfully put together by Rosie from the The New Craft Society Blog

Talking about blogs… We were immensely proud to recently be included in Kristine Vikse’s bloglove on Memmini and in such great company! Blogs mentioned included Mor Sine Hjerter with her stunning photography and also the ultra stylish Charlott Pettersen from the brilliant Mummy and Hermann blog.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
