Are you tired of children’s shops only stocking clothes for younger children and passing the tween market. May we suggest you talk to your favourite store(s) and suggest the labels and sizes you’d like to see available? We do, and it does help. Retailers need to understand that there’s a need for appropriate and stylish kidswear -after the size of 8 years. Keep us posted on your findings!

We currently only stock up to age 7, partly because many of the childrenswear labels we carry only go up to 6 or 7. As mums of two 7 year old girls we’d love to see more labels continuing to larger sizes, and as a retailer we want to be able to grow with our our customers and their children rather than lose them at age 7.
We are currently considering whether we should be stocking larger sizes from some of our brands. Maybe this is the nudge we need!
I remember seeing the Sofie Schnoor show at CIFF last August. What a party! They were so cool, those kids!
And just as a tiny FYI I’ll add that adults fitting a size 36/38 also fit Soft Gallery’s size 14y 🙂
