The annual celebration of 17.mai will take place in Southwark Park, opening with Champagne breakfast from Scandinavian Kitchen’s pop-up restaurant and raising of the flag. There will be live entertainment, from Norwegian folk music and parade musicians to blues and pop, throughout the day as well as Norwegian food and drinks from various of food stalls.

Buy lottery tickets and you are in the draw to win Cruise with Hurtigruten, flight tickets with Norwegian or a train journey with NSB in Norway. A tottery ticket is £1 and there’s 200 prizes! The children’s parade starts at 1:15pm from the bandstand, followed by children’s traditional games. And there will be ice cream, lots of Norwegian ice cream.
