When two dads and a mum discovered they had the same concerns about clothes shopping for their kids, they decided to launch Box Upon a Time; a helpful monthly subscription service for high quality children clothes, from 0 to 3 years, at a discounted price -So parents can spend less time on stressful shopping and more on their precious bundle.
The webpage is easy to use. Once you have filled in your Fashion Profile with your taste and requirements, you can just sit back and relax! An in-house stylist will then handpick a selection of clothes based on your profile. And every month, a box containing 2 to 5 items, will be delivered directly to your doorstep. The concept is simple, fun and a great way to discover new brands. It’s also a great gift idea for new parents.
Little S was sent a Gold Box to review by Box Upon a Time. The box came beautifully presented, with a little card from the stylist and a brief summary about the brands included in the Box. These beautiful pieces of pure pleasure came in her box:
1. A long sleeved kimono style cardigan from Petit Pim. Made from 100% luxurious Peruvian Pima Cotton, retail £12. Petit Pim is a London based company which offers a collection of essential baby clothes in the finest handpicked quality cotton.
2. A super soft and stylish onesie from Italian brand Amelia Milano. Retail £49. The brand focuses on a gorgeous classic style with attention to details, comfortable fabrics and natural fibres.
3. A two piece set from luxury Spanish family company Fina Ejerique. Lovely, timeless style and perfect for Summer. Retail £43.
The clothes received in the box are all a luxurious delight. So soft and pretty. They are very much in season and has a versitile use and easy to combine with other clothes. The only dissapointment is the size of the clothes, they are a bit small for a big baby like S (those Scandinavian genes!). Perhaps ad birth size when registering, as of course no baby is born the same size.
The subscription fee starts from £29/Box. You can chose to receive your box monthly or quarterly. And each Box offers great savings with up to 50-60% off recommended retail prices. The Box is tailored to grow with your child and match the current season. Currently Box Upon a Time have more than 30 luxury brands they are working with. You can modify your Fashion Profile at any time by logging into your account. You don’t, however, get a chance to see whats being sent to you each month, it’s all a surprise. Which really is only a pleasure as they know what you like because of your selection in the fashion profile. If you somehow still would not be satisfied with your Box, you can simply exchange it for free. It’s also worth noticing that there is no contract, you can cancel your subscription free of charge whenever you want.
