Mina for Mini is a new design collaboration; Swedish Mina’s Shoes have teamed up with their best clothing friends from labels such as Bob & Blossom and Nöe Zoé Berlin to create one online destinations for cute kidswear, baby and children’s products and of course – beautiful baby and girls ballerinas.
Mina’s Shoes have been a favourite shoe brand in this house, with Little A’s favourite pair being the cat ballerina. You can see all our posts featuring the different Mina styles here. The quality is superb! And our best advice is to get hold of her favourite styles in the next size up before they sell out. (We’ve enjoyed two sizes of the cat.) Mina’s shoes are made in Portugal, using soft leather and a practical rubber outsole. The different styles features leather strap over the foot with a push button or rubber band for a comfortable fit.
The designer behind the brand is Linda Gullberg, a Swedish design talent that jumped off the mainstream kids apparel carousel to start her own brand, with playful design for babies and children. But as we know, it’s not easy being unconventional. And joining forces with brands sharing the same design philosophy and ethos would not only strengthen the brand profile but perhaps also help smaller independent brands to survive in a commercial market.
We say – go Mina for Mini! Our eyes are peeled on the candy cute pair of berry bliss red ballerinas, with the giant stripy bow. Fun times ahead for tiny feet this summer!
