A peek at Copenhagen’s best children’s boutiques

We are in Copenhagen for CIFF Kids and Fashion Week. It’s busy days – but never to busy to head out for some retail therapy. We are taking a peek at Copenhagen’s top five children’s boutiques!

Copenhagen is a small and compact city, with all of these shops easily within reach during a day of shopping.

Illum
Scandinavia leading department store with a kids section, second to none. With a great selection of high end and independent brands – this store is brilliant to visit – especially during the sale.

Illum, Østergade 52. Opening hours Mon – Fri 10am to 8pm and Sat 11am to 6pm.

Den Blå Ballon
This is a traditional children’s shop that got all you need, from newborn to teen. They also have a separate section for second hand vintage finds as well as kids toys and accessories. Centrally located, just off Østerbrogade.

Greibe & Kumar
Another secondhand shop, offering a wide selection of preloved Scandinavian and international luxury designer wear for both children and adults. Close to ‘Den Blå Ballon, near Østerbrogade.

Greibe & Kumar, Nordre Frihavnsgade 60. Opening hours Mon – Fri 11am to 5:30pm and Sat 10am to 2pm.

Milibe
In charming Fredriksberg area og Copenhagen you’ll find the Milibe flag ship store, offering clothing for children and adults. Besides their own brand the shop also stocks Adidas, Puma, Vans, Angulus, Bisgaard, Galucci og Momino.

Cirkelines Æske
Cirkelines Æske is a second hand shop that sells nearly new clothes, toys and accessories for children age 0 to 14 years in aid of a local charity helping homeless and young people back on track. There’s also an attached cafe with organic food as well as a knitting workshop.

In addition – I will of course be heading to the Lego store on Strøget – a must visit when in Copenhagen! Getting my walking shoes out for a day out… Happy Friday! x
