Mini Rodini is a Stockholm based children’s wear brand, founded in 2006. And to help them celebrate 10 years we want to share our favourite 10 picks from the brand. Happy Birthday Mini Rodini!
Time flies when you’re having fun! It’s been 10 years since Mini Rodini was founded by the Swedish designer Cassandra Rhodin. The brand was not only a playful clothing brand but a tribute to all children and their imagination as well as a vision that clothes should be made more responsible and with as low impact as possible on the environment.
During these 10 years Mini Rodini have launched some iconic styles and prints. This blog was founded in the autumn of 2009 and not long after was our first post on Mini Rodini’s funky and cool design published.

And to celebrate a decade with stylish eco-friendly kids fashion the brand have decided to take us on a ‘Bon Voyage’, on a walk down memory lane and bring back some of most popular designs. We have of course no idea what styles and print they’ll be bringing back. But to join in on the celebration we are sharing…(drum roll, please!)
Our 10 favourite picks from Mini Rodini 2006 – 2016
Never out of fashion is this Mini Rodini coat in a timeless anorak style. Over the years it has been available in several bright colours.
Arguably one of the most beautiful winter coats for kids ever made… The Mini Rodini Snow Leopard printed in contrast to the delightful blue base, teamed with luxurious details such as gold buttons fastening.
The Mini Rodini Snow Leopard print again, as it works so well in this colour too. Available in baby onesies, tops and so on.
The Pierrot print. We loved it on tops and leggings – but this baby blanket looks pretty amazing too.
The Mini Rodini beach and swimwear is too adorable – and this stripy number from SS13 is our favourite!
The hats and caps are iconic – especially this monochrome essential headpiece in a panda design.
The alligator bomber jacket is fun – but it’s the striking green leopard printed onesie that really gets us excited, from Mini Rodini’s SS15 collection.
The Penguin print – really cool on this hooded raincoat!
‘Rebel With a Cause’, a collaboration between Mini Rodini and Swedish stylist Bea Åkerlund was super cool. We loved not only the prints but also her Åkerlunds twins, Billie and Eddie featuring the collection.
And of course – the panda print! Available on all their clothing, in black and white or in a multicolored print. And as of lately, the bright backpack in a retro design is sporting the panda too. (Love the gold zips on the backpack too!) Anyway – looks like Mr Panda is here to stay!
