New Brand Alert: FRANKIE & LIBERTY for tween girls

We are happy to introduce the coming tween fashion brand FRANKIE & LIBERTY, for girls 8-14y.
Danish children’s fashion company AYA NAYA is behind this new brand and they’ll be launching the tween brand shortly after they’ve launched the new fashion brand for boys only, called Tappa Nakki.
FRANKIE & LIBERTY’s collection will be a bit more edgy and cool design for the older girls that are still children.
We can’t wait to see the collection as we really think there is a gap in the marked for tween fashion. Little B is currently wearing a size 12y and as the child she still is I find it really hard to fill her wardrobe.
If the brands do styles up to 14y at all the shops seems reluctant to stock it. The result is that young tween girls are left with a very limited selection of apparel, which is a shame as they are about to enter the scary teens and would need all the support, happiness and confidence they can get.
The first FRANKIE & LIBERTY styles will reach the stores in October 2011. As always we’ll keep you posted -I’ll probably be the first one in the line to secure a few garments for my gorgeous little tween.

Aya Naya launches new collection for boys, Tappa Nakki

Danish company Aya Naya have so far produced soft and colourful clothes exclusively for girls but due to demand they are now launching a collection for boys too, Tappa Nakki.
Tappa Nakki, launched for the first time at CIFF kids in February 2011, will be providing boys 4-12 years with high quality fashion with an attitude.
Tappa Nakki boyswear is all about details like old fashioned suspenders and elbow pads alongside classic shirts and waistcoats. Of course modern twist.
The clothes are made of natural materials with very soft brushed surfaces and insides.The color scheme of the collection is very toned down and simple with colors such as grey melange, dark olive, brown and dark blue.

Aya Naya for your boho chic princess

Danish children’s fashion design label Aya Naya presents a new collection for girls 3 months to 12 years composed of a multitude of amazing colors and bubbling of childlike energy four times a year. The collections are always made of natural materials which ensures the room for movement, creativity and play. Current Winter 2010 collection includes everything from lovely party dresses to chunky and warm sweaters perfect for a walk in crisp winter cold weather.

Almost a bit bohemian without being too nostalgic.
