Milla Milano in Stockholm

Lucky are they who live in Stockholm and who can go shopping in one of my absolute favourite children’s clothing shops Milla Milano.
Milla Milano was founded in 2007 by Camilla Lindegårdh. With 10 years living in Australia and working within the fashion industry she has what it takes to run a super cool children’s clothing shop. They stock classic and contemporary, nostalgic and funky side by side. And it works!
Milla Milano keeps their customers up to date with whats going on in the shop, news, sales etc trough their very enjoyable blog, millamilano.com
From London all I can do is to use the blog for inspiration and maybe to start planning my next trip to Stockholm…

The style rookie -Tavi

At the Paris couture shows the other week among all the gorgeous and creative collections shown it was little Tavi, the 13 year old blogger, with her dyed grey hair, professional make-up and the oversized pink bow that got the spot light. Her obvious extremely clever, playful and child like way of dressing up in adult clothes has caught the attention of many a fashion journalist. And Little Scandinavian loves her creativity, her knowledge and sense of fashion and her daring and playful way of approaching it all. And we love her blog because, as she say:

Thank you guys so much for the very helpful comments on my last post. My intention with the no-press promise I’ve explained before, and by reading the post you’ll see that it is not at all a matter of thinking the press is not worthy of my blog. I didn’t start this blog to get a head start in the industry or bring a lot of hits to my page, else I would be grasping more opportunities. Because of this, there really isn’t any point in me taking press other than wanting to see my name in print, which I really don’t have any desire to. I’m happy to contribute to an article creatively, but that’s very different. I’m really grateful to be considered as the subject of an article, but I shouldn’t feel obligated to say yes to an offer just because others would love to have the opportunity. I’m 12. This blog is for fun.

I wonder what she wore as a young child, why she fell in love with clothes in such a unique way, how she kept her young child like open mind about fashion and how she was inspired to keep develop it without too much interference from the fashion world?
