Thank you cards from The Note Studio

Amélie recently turned 6 years and had a lovely Birthday party, celebrating the big day with her friends.
She got lot’s of lovely presents and also wonderful Birthday cards. So, now it’s time to say “Thank you!”.
Thank you, for coming to my party and making my day so special. And thank you for the lovely present and card you gave me. And what better way to do in than with a personalised thank you note from the newly founded The Note Studio?
The cards are supreme quality and you get to choose the character that looks the most like your child. There is your childs first letter at the top and full name at the bottom of the note, so pretty and so personal.
Did you know that in Scandinavia the children open the presents in the party and will there and then thank the giver with a big hug. Well, in Britain, where you open the presents after the party you still want to thank your friend in a personal way. The Note Studio makes this easy.

Speedy delivery, well packed in a sturdy little box.

Choose from a variety of thank you notes, easy to find your favourite.

Personalised cards, for saying "Thank you" or perhaps as a little note for a friend, "Thinking of you".

The Note Studio has barely started up but is already experiencing lots of orders. Their online shop www.thenotestudio.co.uk will be up and running very soon. Meanwhile you can find a selection at the online shop www.notonthehighstreet.com

Dear reader…

There are various theories on the origin of Valentine’s Day, but the most popular dates back to the time of the Roman Empire during the reign of Claudius II, 270 AD. Claudius didn’t want men to marry during wartime because he believed single men made better soldiers. Bishop Valentine went against his wishes and performed secret wedding ceremonies.
For this Valentine was jailed and the executed by order of the Emperor on February the 14th. While in jail he wrote a love note to the jailor’s daughter signing it; From your Valentine.
Scandinavians don’t have a tradition for celebrating Valentine’s day, but who can resist celebrating love?
I have a few romantic surprises for my loved one today… What are your plans for the day?

Valentines cards and paperart from the London based Norwegian designer Anja Fallan.

Perfect party bags

Bright stripes and a plain style makes these paper bags from Minimega the perfect party bag for little guests.
Festive and funky but yet very traditional as they remind me a lot of the old fashioned sweetie bags.
Remember when sweets came in glass jars not plastic bags? When you went to the local sweet shop to spend your pocket money and came back with a proper paper bag with two ounces or a quarter of your favourite sweets?
And what’s good to know is that minimega only offset prints on 100% recycled paper with vegetable-based inks. No needless chemicals are added in the process.
This is simply brilliant danish design, available online at minimega.dk
