Design inspiration collectible Lotus Cathrineholm

One of the worlds finest and most extensive line of gourmet porcelainized enamel cookwear, the famous Lotus design by Grete Prytz Kittelsen for Catherineholm is today a sought after collectible items. See what’s currently on sale on Ebay
Cathrineholm was an ironworks, located near the town of Halden in Norway, which started production in 1907. Originally the ironworks manufactured wrought iron products and agricultural equipment, but due to changing economic circumstances it later evolved into producing enamel kitchenware. The company closed in 1970.
Our orange Lotus coffee pot is in daily use. It’s something reassuring and optimistic about the design.
We love it. Graphic designers seems to love it too!
