The Danish brands to watch at Bubble in June 2011

We’ll be seeing a lot of exciting Danish brands at Bubble London in June. Aya Naya, Christina Rohde, Cupcake, Danefae, Esencia, Lucky Boy Sunday, MeToo, Milibe, Mini A Ture, Molo, Noa Noa Miniature, Phister and Philina, Pom Pom Sko, Poppy Rose, Popupshop and Smafolk.

The Danes know design and they definitely know children’s fashion. In this case I’ll simply let the pictures speak for itself. Enjoy!

The clothes from the Scandinavian children’s fashion brand Christina Rohde is utterly gorgeous. It’s all about the high quality and the pure fabrics, the clean lines yet with lots of little details. Danish Rohde provides children with understated, functional everyday luxury.
The coming Spring Summer 2011 collection is filled up with the flower prints, stripes and checked fabrics we adore, for babies, boys and girls up to 12 years old.

Jazzed up AW10 news from Christina Rohde

Being a pioneer in creating Scandinavian children’s designer wear danish designer Christina Rohde started up back in 1991. The label is known for a romantic, nostalgic almost bohemian look with their loose and flowery print on soft cotton made into the most comfortable yet stylish garments.
However it seems like the label Christina Rohde are renewing themselves slightly this season, or so it seems from their presentation of the collection.

If you look closely many of the garments are still the same, with the same typical Christina Rohde signature cut and finish.
So, what do you prefer? The more nostalgic look or the new almost “geek chic” style?

Min Engel in Bergen

Bergen is one of the most beautiful cities in Norway, and is really worth a visit. In addition to stunning nature, delicious seafood and friendly people they also have great shopping.
One of my absolute favourite children fashion shops is located in Bergen, Min Engel (My Angel).

Min Engel, founded in 2003, stock sought after Scandinavian design for children, everything from clothing and shoes to interior items, toys and accessories. Labels you’ll find at Min Engel is Bisgaard, Chill Norway Christina Rohde, Gulp, Lille Barn, MeMini, Mini A Ture, Molo, Noa Noa Miniature, Norlie, Petit Nord, Ticket to Heaven, Wheat, Lisbeth Dahl and Maileg.
It’s run by the two “angels” Gunn and Hilde, two lovely ladies who know all about customer services in addition to being update on the latest fashion for our kids up to 12 years.
