Denmark is the world’s oldest kingdom, situated in northern Europe and is one of three Scandinavian countries. Copenhagen Fashion Week was founded in 1964, originally showcasing the best of Scandinavian fashion. The twice a year event is today both an industry trade fair and a public festival spread all over the city with a broad international focus.

Copenhagen Fashion Week is almost like an umbrella organisation for all the different shows and events showcasing adult and children’s fashion from both established fashion houses to up and coming independent designer brands and combines music, art and fashion, with a joint understanding that together turning Copenhagen in to one big Fashion Capital is the key to success.
