A new collection and a new story has been realeesd from the Norwegian childrenswear brand for girls, Dundelina. This is one of our favourite brands, both my girls love their Dundelina dresses, blouses and cardigans. This time around we have our eyes in the Butterfly Bloomers, the Basic Summer Blouse and the Ribbed V-Neck Cardigan. So beautiful yet with playful and quirky little details that make these pieces the favourites in your child’s wardrobe.

Secrets shared in the windowsill on a Friday

Little A had her best friend over Friday a week ago, and both girls quickly changed out of School uniforms and into Dundelina dresses for playing. The girls had such a lovely time, playing imaginative role plays, lots of singing and acting, then some whispering in the windowsill. Best friends! Little A’s friend borrowed the dress home and the mum emailed me asking where she could get hold of it as it was the prettiest dress she’s ever had seen! That dress is in fact Little A’s favourite dress too!

Taste of Scandinavia in London

We did mention the Scandinavia Show taking place at Earls Court in London this weekend. And what an event! Arctic travel destinations and Huskey puppies, Scandinavian fashion and contemporary design, live food stand and taste of Lapland drinks in addition to live music, story time for kids and Santa handing out Danish delicious chocolate to everyone!

Overheard at the Scandinavia Show… Did you know?!
- Snow has hit the UK! The Raindrops team had to drive through winter roads one their way from Scotland. What better way to start a showcase of Winter outerwear for kids!?

Utterly gorgeous girls summer outfit by Dundelina

This outfit ticks all the boxes; It’s well made, it’s beautiful to look at, it does have a nostalgic touch taking you back to your won childhood memories of summer and it’s fun with lot’s of playful details. Little A danced around with the lovely balloon styled dress that does swing! She was excited about the light and soft cotton shirt; It has wings mummy! Do you think I can fly wearing this?
And she was even more excited when she realised that the bird had a pocket hidden underneath it’s beak; For my treasures, mummy!
I love the well made button closing at the back, the polka dot fabric and matching inner layer of heavy high quality fabric and I love the pretty blouse. This is a set that amazes me. We have enjoyed the beautiful design by the Norwegian based designer Dundelina in the past but this set truly amazes us, and Little A can’t wait to wear it to non uniform day at the end of term -and probably for the entire summer holiday! www.dundelina.com

Knot pony

I tried to do a knotted side pony on Little B today after finding a tutorial online over at Pinterest.com. It was hard to manage to fasten the knots properly. If I manage to find a solution to the “fasten with pin challenge” this might become one of our favourite hairstyles.
