Not without my Mini Rodini hat!

Swedish Mini Rodini designs fashionable, modern, high-quality clothes for children between 0-11 years. The brand was born in year 2006. Ranging from basic cotton t-shirts to luxurious leather jackets and cashmere sweaters. They have their own boutique in Stockholm and are represented in 90 independent shops and department stores around the world. Founder Cassandra Rhodin is a Swedish fashion illustrator with clients like H&M, Nylon,Urban Outfitters and ELLE.
Among the Mini Rodini AW09 collection are sparkly spangled leggings, screaming notes, love squids, volcanoes, gorillas, peacocks and harlequin prints. At Mini Rodini the prints are unique, funny and unisex.

I just learned that Fablefant, a danish design brand founded in 2002, has gone bankrupt.
It has been some lovely years, with fun and playful children wear for young pirates and fairies. We will miss Fablefant.

How adorable is this (by Shampoodle)!?!

I was just browsing through Nordic Kids online shop, and found this lovely tracksuit for Amélie.

The tracksuit features extra long ribbed arms and legs which rumple up for a small fit and then stretch out to stay fitting as your little one grows. Choose your child’s current size and it will fit through up to another three sizes. Made in soft, weighty organic terry cotton with a full zip, cozy hood and hand pockets. The only problem is persuading them to take it off at dinner.
It comes in size 1 – 2 years, 2 – 3 years and 5 – 6 years. And £42.99 is not too bad if it’s lasting for up to three years!
Each tracksuit comes in a cotton drawstring bag.

Mini A Ture

My favourite danish design label is Mini a Ture, launched in 2001 when I had my first daughter. The clothes are so comfortable yet stylish. They wash well and keep in fashion for future generations.
They launch four collections every year, in size 50cm – 140cm or 0 – 10 years. From Spring 2010 there will be some clothes even for your 12 year old!

Luckily there are several online stores in the UK selling Mini A Ture as well as selected High End Shops.

I bought this dress to Amélie this summer

I think she will be wearing out throughout the year, with a tee and tights underneath -she loves it so much!

First designer to be published on this blog is Kristine Vikse with her beautiful, norwegian nostalgic designer wear MeMini for children age 0 – 10 years (50cm – 140cm).

MeMini is high quality baby- and children’s wear designed in Norway. The first collection was presented in spring 2006, and was an immediate success! Using timeless colours and materials this clothes is easily combined with other brands as well as vintage children clothing and accessorize.

Hoping to see this lovely items in the UK very soon. I’ll keep you posted!
