Ewa i Walla Autumn Winter 2010

Ewa i Walla is a Swedish fashion design company for adult and children’s fashion. It was funded in early 1990. The clothes have a sense of romance, haute couture and countryside chic.
Natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk and wool constitute the base in the collections and are mixed and matched in the most unusual way. This Autumn Winter 2010 collection is no exception. We love the checked dress and skirt with tons of layers and fabric, the knitted items and the nostalgic woolen coat -enjoy!

Ewa I Walla is planning to release their own online shop, containing previous collections to bargain price. It’s supposed to be ready any time, so stay tuned!

Danish quality shoes byKier

It’s not only established brands like Angulus and Bisgaard that spoil us with a fantastic range of footwear for our little ones.
Like Pom Pom byKier is also a newcomer as a danish brand within shoe design.

Behind the brand is the Danish designer Lone Kier who has 15 years experience as a shoe designer for famous shoes brands, like ECCO and Bundgaard but has since 2005 focused on developing the brand byKier. Lone is trained as a shoe designer at Cordwainers College in London.

byKier make designer shoes for children and tweens in sizes 19-41 in addition to their adult collection. byKier is sold directly from Denmark to the consumer which enables a lower retail price.
Their idea is that all children should be able to get trendy high quality shoes at reasonable prices. Why pay more than you have to and why drag you child from shop to shop to find the right shoes if you can do the shoe fitting and purchase in the comfort of your own home.
byKier is also environmentally concerned, ensuring that all shoes are produced with an awareness of the impacts on workers, communities and ecosystems.

Pleasant autumn surprise from Babushka

Danish Babushka has extended their collection now and there is suddenly a few clothing items to be found as well as the adorable interior items we know from previous seasons.
The clothing has a clear Japenese influence with items like kimonos etc and also looking at their unusual use of colours. We think the knitted shawls are lovely too.
Pure lifestyle thing going on here… And we quite like this Asian meets English country living!
