Classic children’s clothes by Danish Poppy Rose for AW11

The Danish children’s fashion brand Poppy Rose, founded in 2005, combine Liberty prints with subtle colours in delicate fabrics creating a vintage look. We discovered this brand February 2010 and wrote about this True Poppy Rose of a brand. They also had a gorgeous yet subtle collection for Spring Summer 2011. They have gone a bit darker on the colour palette for Autumn Winter 2011 with use of grey and black for the coming colder season. Warmed up with the nostalgic flower print and traditional woolen fabrics. Vintage is more popular than ever especially combined with pure fabrics. We think clothes by Poppy Rose is simply gorgeous and are so happy that it will now be available in the UK as well as they’ve now got a UK agent, Vida Kids.co.uk. A fashion label in the making, Petit Legarth

One women’s passion for fabrics and everything handmade turns into interior accessories and then with the arrival of kids the next step is children’s accessories. It’s not long before it’s kids clothes as well. After lot’s of lovely feedback the creative designer promises to create a whole collection for one established shop. And we do not think the story will end here!

We must admit that we like Lucky Ellen’s girlie collection even more and more every time we see it. It’s a unbelievable cool mix of nostalgic Ida from “Emil i Lonneberget” and the more modern boho chic.
And we love the fact that they make clothes for girls up to 164 -as we think it’s a huge gap in the market for decent yet cool tween and teen girls clothes!

Lucky Ellen and Hasbeens

Lucky Ellen is a Swedish designer label that offers romantic vintage with a modern twist for girls from five years and up.
They’ve used fabric from Liberty in their latest collection which we find very exciting.



Love the combination of this very casual summer pieces matched with Swedish Hasbeens clogs for a bit more grown up girls. Very summery and very 70′s indeed!
