Bring nature in

Nature is not only a strong trend in fashion. It’s in design as well, and we have selected a few pieces for the older child’s bedroom. Let’s bring nature in!

1. The tree junior coat hanger by the Swedese

2. Wood table lamp by Muuto

1. The Tree Junior Coat Hanger by the Swedese $630 at Huset
This freestanding coat stand designed by Iclander Katrin Petursdottir and Brit Michael Young for Swedish furniture brand Swedese would look great in any children’s bedroom. Depending on the child’s need it will easily lend a helping branch to bags and cardigans that otherwise would be stored randomly. Height 134 cm.

2. Wood table lamp by Muuto, £122.40 at Moleta Munro
The all-wood lamp is a lo-tech counterweight to the usually very modern and technical desk lamps. All details on the lamp are chosen through a pragmatic perspective and all bolts, screws and joints are emphasized. By using very simple methods Muuto has been able to give the Wood lamp a very honest and iconic expression, suitable for any room in the house even the kids room. Why not treat your child to a proper crafted designer lamp? With this placed on their desk you can be sure that they have enough light for all homework and various of science and art projects.

3. Spring forest fabric by Marimekko

4. The Birds Nest rug by the Swedes

3. Kaiko Spring Landscape by Marimekko SEK 909 at Design Online

4. Birds nest rug by Kateha SEK 9900 at Design Online
Swedish company Kateha takes the Scandinavian rug design to a higher level with the Birds nest, a glorious thick and soft carpet in the very best quality designed by the Swedes. Also Kateha has a Rugmark license. Rugmark, is an international initiative against the use of illegal child labour in the carpet industry that was initiated in 1995 by Indian non-governmental organizations and international aid organizations.
