Moonkids is a Swedish label designing kids fashion from newborn and up to 12y. Best known for their retro dungarees they are increasingly popular all over Scandinavia.

We think this blue short a-line coat for girls by Moonikds is so versatile and gorgeous for Spring. Made of blue cotton with gold lining and dark yellow seams combined with puff shoulders, pockets and buckles at front makes this coat a must have; lovely quality with attention to detail. Retails for € 98.60 and available in sizes 92-152cm.

Preppy Moonkids

Moonkids is a Swedish fashion design company, producing clothes for children 0y-12y. Initially Moonkids was inspired mainly by the 60′s and 70′s, which is still apparent in the up to 4 yearly collections they launch.

For AW10 they have three high fashion lines; Rock, Street and Preppy. The Preppy line is inspired by British preppy school uniforms as well as the Amercian preppy sports wear.

The Preppy style is truly in season. While I’m unsure about the look-a-like uniforms I quite like the checked pieces that could work very well with lot’s of other styles.

Warning: Moonkids claim they test all their clothing on real children! ;)
