New Brand Alert: William & Waldemar retro knits

Norwegian children’s wear brand William & Waldemar are creating clothes that children would like to wear; Clothes made of natural and comfortable materials in a fun and playful design.
William & Waldemar’s baby and children’s clothes 0-12 years is designed in Norway and knitted of the finest natural alpaca wool in Peru. Alpaca animals roam freely in pastures in the Andes Mountains. William & Waldemar only work with socially responsible manufacturers where production takes place in local workshops.
Pure alpaca wool is according to William & Waldemar second to none when it comes to children’s winter wear, comfortable and soft next to the skin and keeping you warm and dry throughout rain and snow. We think: Definitely fun and playful! And perhaps even more importantly this proves that Scandinavian retro, funky and cool children’s wear isn’t all about prints and cotton t-shirt!

Scandinavian Rainwear for children

I discovered this brand when I met Ole, the Norwegian who produces Smoked Salmon the Scandinavian way in the middle of London. His rainwear looked both retro and highly technical at the same time. The real deal! Then it turns out Aalesund Oljeklede has developed a solid history and tradition in the Norwegian manufacturing business and is the market leader in clothing for fishermen along a rugged coastline through many decades. Now they’ve added a children’s rainwear range from 6-14 years that will keep Junior both dry and warm through stormy autumn winter days.
