Scandinavian Rainwear for children

I discovered this brand when I met Ole, the Norwegian who produces Smoked Salmon the Scandinavian way in the middle of London. His rainwear looked both retro and highly technical at the same time. The real deal! Then it turns out Aalesund Oljeklede has developed a solid history and tradition in the Norwegian manufacturing business and is the market leader in clothing for fishermen along a rugged coastline through many decades. Now they’ve added a children’s rainwear range from 6-14 years that will keep Junior both dry and warm through stormy autumn winter days.

Practical Polarn O. Pyret

When you need clothing for outdoors, in sizes baby and children up to 12 years it’s almost guaranteed you’ll find what you are looking for at Swedish chain store Polarn O. Pyret. They are known for good quality and practical clothing for active kids.

Beatrice had to have a new raincoat, and as it’s important to us that a raincoat actually is rainproof and breathable at the same time it can be a challenge to find.

Polarn O. Pyret saves you the time. For the spring they have a very practical lightweight shell jacket which is wind and waterproof and you can choose between the colours red, raspberry, bright blue, green, beige or navy blue. This spring coat is like made for the British weather!

In addition to their basic range that mostly consists of red or blue striped clothing they also have a lot of bright coloured casual wear for the kids. Jeans and tops in bright green and pink, tops with fun prints and really cute sleepwear. Have a look at your nearest Polarn O. Pyret or online at polarnopyret.se

Simple style, quite nostalgic and a bit retro. Reminds me of a pair of blue Norwegian Viking wellington boots I used to have as a child. -Which I loved!

Visit PetitbySofieSchnoor.com for more footwear and to find out where to get hold of a pair.

Wellies presented to you on a rainy day. Where did the sunshine go?

Spring news for Småfolk (Little People)

Danish Småfolk (means Little people in danish) is such a well known and established brand in the UK so it might surprise you that it was founded only 5 years ago. Their use of vibrant colours knows no boundaries as their kid’s clothes throw all the rules out the window in pursuit of memorable outfits. They almost operate under the mantra that colours can’t clash if they are gorgeous enough. Småfolk love bold colours and prints that make you sit up and take notice! Created for children that want to be noticed, their collections of clothes are anything but dull with patterns that little ones are likely to remember for the rest of their lives…

Their new spring collection is packed with all the stuff you always find in a Småfolk Collection – T-shirts, pants, dresses and lots of baby clothes. But there are also plenty of news like several new dress and sweatshirt models, rainwear and rubber boots in two new colors and their popular bedding in a cream colored background throughout the 8 colors.

Little people! Get ready for lots of beautiful spring experiences with Småfolk!
