What it is is beautiful – Lego ad from 1981

This vintage Lego ad is as trendy now as it was in 1981, with children being children; In one picture Lego has captured exactly what’s fashion forward now as much as then; inventive, playful and real children. What it is is nothing more than beautiful!

The brand to watch; 50′s style by Rockefella

The swedish children’s fashion brand Rockefella creates fun and funky clothes in a proper retro 50′s style for cool children. Introduced to the British market on the trade show Bubble in June 2010 and was named winner of the Standout Award for the best-dressed stand at the show with its pirate-themed and retro creation. The clothes are both comfortable and stylish, in fact we’re always stopped on the street by people who want to take a closer look at for example the popular yellow cardigan, and they would say: Like seriously! I had one just like that as a child! I used to love my cardigan! Wow -do they produce it again!?!

Yes they do. We think Rockefella is the brand to watch at Bubble London in June 2011, exhibiting for the 3d time. We’re very excited to see they have in store for us for Spring Summer 2012. Wear it. Live it. Roll the Dice. www.rockefella.se

Gooey Brand retro Owl print dress

We are currently doing a review on this gorgeous apple coloured dress with a cool hand printed owl by the up and coming new brand and shop concept from Sweden, The Gooey Brand.
Little A is head over heels with the blue eyed owl that sits on a branch. And as the little collector she is she simply loves the two front pockets. The A-line short sleeved dress is made of soft organic cotton with a really nice finish. Wear it on its own with a cardi or as a tunic with trousers and a tee underneath. Available in size 86-116 €40 www.gooeybrand.com

So this is how we review clothes -up side down!
The children would wear it, we’ll wash it and then wear it again -and then we’ll let you know what we think!

Step into a retro and colourful spring 2011 with Angulus

We quite like the daring colours combined with high quality comfortable leather by danish shoe brand Angulus. The yellow sandals will definitely brighten up Amélie’s day and be a hit throughout the coming spring and summer. The leather sneakers for boys are available in brown aswell, but why not spoil the boys with some bright colours too? Prices from £60, but well worth in terms of quality and fit. Angulus was founded in 1904 and their shoes are therefor not only made with love an care but also more than 100 years of experience.
