Preview Shampoodle SS12 organic must have clothes

I’ve just had a browse through the newest Shampoodle look book images for Spring Summer 2012 -and I must say! It was really hard to do a selection as they’ve done it again; Created a desirable, luscious ethically-minded organic clothing for children in a cool, urban yet relaxed and playful style. They’ve also used gorgeous mini models showcasing a collection more extensive than ever.

Why organic cotton?

Organic cotton has been available for several years, although the latest years gotten so popular by consumers that it could even be found on the high street. Organic cotton was one of the main trends in 2009 and has continued it’s success in 2010 and 2011. We think it’s here to stay.
So whats the deal? Cotton is a soft fibre that grows around the seeds of the cotton plant. In the production of organic cotton no chemicals are used and it is therefore more gentle for the environment than the ordinary cotton production and the result is a smoother quality. Preview Shampoodle Spring Summer 2010 collection

I find the Swedish label Shampoodle as something really different. Something new. They take comfort to a new level, with their loose fit combined with super soft viscose and organic cotton.
Shampoodle, founded by Helene Stevenberg and Jakob Wästberg, launches two collections by theme every year, spring/summer and autumn/winter, for children 0 – 10 years. Most clothes are unisex, and made to grow in.
And as Shampoodle say: “Shampoodle always delivers value for money – otherwise it’s no fun.”
