Today’s outfit Mini Rodini and Bisgaard

Kidsen is such a lovely shop! You do get a true Scandinavian feel here; They have an impressing selection ov everything from kids fashion to furniture and design from all our favourite Scandinavian brands. They have the most friendly and helpful Scandinavian girls working in the shop. The shop in its self, being so contemporary bright and airy, that for a moment you actually think you are in the land of midnight sun again.

Pictures shows what Amélie is wearing today, purchased at Kidsen yesterday; White tull dress from Swedish brand Mini Rodini and gorgeous silver leather Mary Janes from Danish favourite brand Bisgaard.
Little Scandinavian highly recommends all Londoners (and visitors) do drop by this Scandinavian treasure in Kensal Rise.

Igloo Kids launching news

Igloo Kids have not only launched summer news but also a completely new webshop. And LittleScandinavian likes both!
The website is plain and functional with lot’s of tempting news from Bisgaard, Mini A Ture and Louie Louis to mention some.
Picture to the left shows Elif T-Bar Shoe in Pink Silk from Bisgaard.

This is how Karen Bailey, the founder of Igloo presents her shop

So, as well as stocking known brands, we actively seek out interesting and different ranges of goods from around the world and our product range is constantly evolving. Oh yes – and so are my children, who are now 8 and 7 years old. And I hope that your children enjoy their own Igloo journey too.

I’m sure they will Karen!

Bohemian chic with a touch of rock’n roll

Dekrebo is a family run (daughter and mother team) company that started in Stockholm, Sweden 2007. The collections are made in small quantities and consist of unique and beautiful clothes that are made by hand. They describe the style as Nordic bohemian with a little french touch – a little bit of a vintage feeling and some rock´n roll.
Alongside their own children’s clothing brand they offer a few other labels as well as a small and carefully selected home accessories range.

The Flore Scarf and The Little Bird Dress is really a favourite of LittleScandinavian!

Pictures for inspiration

It’s more and more common for Scandinavian independent children’s fashion shops to use professional photographer to promote a new collection. Swedish photographer Maria Wingfors has shot some lovely pictures for Swedish independent shop Småtufft, with gorgeous little fashion models Winnie, Emmie, Malcolm and Ofeliaare (children of the shop owners).

I love their personal blog that features a lot of colourful and cute Scandinavian children’s clothing.
Have a look at smatufft.blogg.se

I spy with my little eye something beginning with I Dig Denim and Molo

Malou Barré launching webshop

MaLou Barré was established in 2007 – a Danish brand characterized by exclusive children’s clothes. The style is classic and elegant with a timeless hint of subtle details and a distinctive touch of romance. With a no-compromise attitude regarding fabric quality, the clothes are meant for well-dressed comfort. For boys and girls 2 – 10 years in addition to some gorgeous accessories.
I’m very excited about the launch of their brand new webshop. Only obstacle now is what to choose when I would love to buy the entire girls collection!
This spring summer collection is so inspired by Astrid Lindgrens characters, Emil and Madicken, which I absolutely love. Check out Emil shirt and trousers for boys, adore the cut and finish.

Min Engel in Bergen

Bergen is one of the most beautiful cities in Norway, and is really worth a visit. In addition to stunning nature, delicious seafood and friendly people they also have great shopping.
One of my absolute favourite children fashion shops is located in Bergen, Min Engel (My Angel).

Min Engel, founded in 2003, stock sought after Scandinavian design for children, everything from clothing and shoes to interior items, toys and accessories. Labels you’ll find at Min Engel is Bisgaard, Chill Norway Christina Rohde, Gulp, Lille Barn, MeMini, Mini A Ture, Molo, Noa Noa Miniature, Norlie, Petit Nord, Ticket to Heaven, Wheat, Lisbeth Dahl and Maileg.
It’s run by the two “angels” Gunn and Hilde, two lovely ladies who know all about customer services in addition to being update on the latest fashion for our kids up to 12 years.

Some spring news, dress from Rohde and matching shoes from Bisgaard.

Min Engel have a lovely and very unique shop you can visit. If you do not happen to be in Bergen you can visit their online shop. Or simply follow their very inspirational blog. They flash some seriously nice pictures of all items they stock in the blog.

Milla Milano in Stockholm

Lucky are they who live in Stockholm and who can go shopping in one of my absolute favourite children’s clothing shops Milla Milano.
Milla Milano was founded in 2007 by Camilla Lindegårdh. With 10 years living in Australia and working within the fashion industry she has what it takes to run a super cool children’s clothing shop. They stock classic and contemporary, nostalgic and funky side by side. And it works!
Milla Milano keeps their customers up to date with whats going on in the shop, news, sales etc trough their very enjoyable blog, millamilano.com
From London all I can do is to use the blog for inspiration and maybe to start planning my next trip to Stockholm…
