Danish Summer bazaar in London

The Danish Church in London is busy getting ready for the Summer Bazaar 2011. Visit St Katharine’s on Friday 20 or Saturday 21 May and spend a cheerful afternoon with other Danes and friends of Denmark. In the many market stalls you’ll find Danish design, needlework, arts and crafts, antiques, books as well as stalls selling traditional, Danish food.
There will also be a pop up cafe in the garden where you can try one of Denmark famous red hot dogs or indulge in one of the many kinds of the Scandinavian style open sandwich, smørrebrød.

While you enjoy a stroll around in the bazaar the children can have a go at the bouncy castle, bake twistbread, play fish pond or face painting.

Entrance: £1, children under 14 years is free.
Time: Friday 20 May 4pm-8pm and Saturday 21 May 11am-4pm Saturday.

Summer Fair at the Danish Church in London

The Danish Church in London are having their annual summer fair this weekend, starting today.
LittleScandinavian will for sure be going in order to get hold of some Scandinavian goodies.
What about having an open danish sandwich for lunch with a proper cream cake for dessert outside in the garden of the church? Or line up to buy those most delicious bright red danish hot dogs!

In addition to food there will be design, arts and craft, books, second hand clothing and lots more. There will also be lots of fun activities for children.

14th of May 4pm – 9pm
15th of May 11am – 4pm

Entrance: £1, children under 14 years is free. And you don’t have to be danish to enjoy this family event! You only have to enjoy danish food and people!
